line spacing is uneven on my first post

    First time poster. I cut and pasted from gmail and the line spacing changes about 2/3 through the essay. How to fix?

    Hi bgandl,

    If you go to the edit page of your post, you should see a ‘Toolbar Toggle’ button, by clicking on it you’ll have more text options such as ‘clear formatting’ and ‘paste as text’ buttons.

    Hope it helps somehow.

    Hi bgandl,
    I have inspected your site and have noticed that your first paragraph down to the paragraph that starts, “Remember the paradox of light being both a particle and a wave? ” are all wrapped in header tags <h4>’s to be precise.
    I am not an expert in this field, however, your site starts to look more natural the rest of the way down, where everything is wrapped more naturally in paragraph tags <p>’s.
    So, if you have a paid plan that offers custom css, you could go in and rectify that.

    Also, on a side note, I just copied your text and pasted it into a new site just to see how it would look. The result was, it looked just fine. So maybe, just copying it again, deleting the entire thing and re-pasting by going into the edit section at the bottom of your page may do you wonders?
    I hope that within something I have said, you will find some help!

    I cut and pasted from gmail

    When you cut and paste from another application, you may carry over formatting that doesn’t look right once it’s in your blog post. To avoid this problem, use the “Paste as text” button when pasting from an outside program like Gmail.

    In your editor, first, click the button at the end of the first row of buttons. That’ll open the second row of buttons. See item 14 here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text

    Next, find the “paste as text” button. See item 6 here:
