line spacing issues

A couple of years ago I used WordPress for a blog for my classroom and was very happy with it. Then last year, as I was setting up the new blog for the new year I began having issues with line spacing. Everything would look fine in editing mode, but when I published or previewed, paragraphs and sections that were supposed to have a line space in between them were suddenly shoved together. I tried changing line spacing settings, themes, and even browsers, but still no luck. I don’t understand why it looks okay in editing mode but not in preview or published mode! My only thought is that it is a Mac thing… anyone have any experience with problem? I would love to use WordPress again because I HATE blogger, but I can’t use it with this glitch!

No issues here. Just hit enter when trying to move to a new line. In the editor version it looks like a lot of space, but when published it’s just a single line.
When you Shift+Enter, it will take you to the next line, but leave no space in between.
