Line Spacing on Page
-
Hello-
I am trying to adjust (lessen) the space between the lines of text in my Page body content. I am using the Radcliffe Theme, and here is the link to my Page: http://anescapetoholdonto.com/poems/the-lighthouse/
This is a wordpress blog.
Any chance someone could help me get the CSS code for this theme to adjust the space between lines? Right now, the lines are seemingly double spaced, but I’d like them to be single. Thanks!

I am not convinced that this is a CSS editing question.
If you are copying and pasting from a word processing document like Microsoft WORD please read this https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/the-paste-as-word-button-has-been-removed-from-the-visual-editor?replies=3 and know that using the paste as text button removes all formatting and HTML. Therefore you have to insert it.
Whether or not you are copying and pasting go to > Dashboard > Settings > Writing and enable this setting:
Formatting
__ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
“save changes”Blog editors and word processors are not the same and do not work the same way. The web standard is one blank line only, so you cannot add more blank lines by pressing return repeatedly like you would do with a typewriter or in a word processing application. If you want to learn how to format and space your posts and pages see:
http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/09/13/wordpress-formatting-and-spacing/See also: http://en.support.wordpress.com/advanced-html/
P.S. When you create a new post, always make sure the Format tool is set to Paragraph before you start typing. It’s in the Visual editor Row 2 first position “style”. See the illustration here http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2 If you forget to do that then edit the post, highlight all in the Visual editor, select Paragraph from the Format tool, switch editor to Text then switch back to Visual and click Update.

Add the following CSS if you don’t have any unwanted paragraphs or line breaks in your post. Youc an check this in the Text View of the Edit Post screen.
10px is just arbitrary number. Please adjust it to your preference.
.post-content p { line-height:10px; } -

Thanks! The code seemed to work fine and I adjust the line spacing. Now, what if I do have paragraph breaks where I may need larger space between specific lines?
