Line spacing with block editor
-
I received two answers to this but they involved coding. I am not up for that.
All I want to do is not end up with a page that has compressed type.
Please advise.
Thank you. -
Hi there,
Which site is this for? I see you have a few on your account. Can I see this on your homepage when I go there? Or is it a specific place I need to look at to see the compressed type?
Thanks for pointing it out!

Hi, thank you for trying to help me with this.
The site is: http://www.holisticdivorcecounseling.com.
The first post is on a six second technique to get rid of teeth clenching.
On the site it appears with single spacing. I would like to be able to double or triple space to make it easier for the reader. -
Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can find more information here about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Your hosting provider’s support team may also be able to assist.

Hi,
Thank you.
Does that mean that the only way I can get WordPress to format my posts correctly is if I go back to having you host the site?
You weren’t hosting it before you swtiched to block editor and formatting wasn’t a problem then.
I only went with GoDaddy because I wanted the url not to have “wordpress” in it.
I would like to stay with WordPress and not switch to WIX, but I can’t post my pieces when the type is all compressed. -

No, it just means that we are not able to assist you. Since the site is not hosted on our servers we can’t access its backend and we can’t guarantee our instructions will work.
