Link a page
-
Hi, tried searching but couldn’t find an answer. On my site, I would like to add a page at the top that would link to a url outside of wordpress.com. Is there a way of doing this? So next to home it would say Forums and it could just bring you right to the forum or would I just have to add to it my links. Thanks!

You can give this trick a try:
<a href="urloflink">Title</a>What you have to do is write a new page and put that in as the title.

@silentspartan: Vivian omitted a crucial detail. This link won’t work unless the title field includes a space. If instead of “Forums” you write “Forums “, it will work.

If you’re using Firefox then this extension will help out with hyper linking

No it didn’t work either. I think maybe I can try html to just redirect to the page I want. I’ll post back if it works.

@silentspartan: That trick DOES work. Can you please paste here what you tried to paste in the page title?

Yep, it works. I just tried it on my test blog. http://vjptestblog2.wordpress.com/
You must not have written a PAGE and entered it as the TITLE of the page

OK, thanks….when I did it, it didn’t work. But I’ll try again. Sorry if I was a pain. Thanks Again!

Something else is wrong with the blog in general: I tried to check its source code and it stops after the first few lines.

What’s going on, silentspartan? Now your source code is complete, and a moment ago the “Forums” tag was there and functioning alright.
