Link Addresses Extend Across Columns
-
My blog has three columns: two for recent blog posts and the third (far right) for the menu. If there is a link in one of my blog posts that is featured in the first two columns on the homepage, sometimes that link won’t drop to a new line with the rest of the text, but will instead extend across the column, with the text running into/over the text of the other article.
You can see the example at watchingthegov.wordpress.com right now. The “Mortgage Servicers: Getting Away with the Perfect Crime?” post contains a link that crosses the column, as does the “The shocking truth about the crackdown on Occupy” post. Is there a way to fix this bug?
Thanks!

I am using Firefox 8 and I visited that post. I don’t see the problem you see so I assume you have a browser issue.
Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If your browser version is out dated then you can upgrade it here http://browsehappy.com
If that does not work for you then please tell us which browser and which version of it are you using.

But if your browser (probably IE…) can’t create line breaks in such cases, simply avoid using the actual URL as the link text when the URL is wrong: use your own text (as you’ve done with “got an Academy Award” etc. further down in the same post).
