Link and pass variable from outside WP site
-
Hi. I send a client an email containing a link that links back to a page in my WP site. The page has PHP on it in an I-frame. (I-frame source is in my WP root) I easily link to the page but I want to pass a variable with the link and pick it up on my WP page? The link in the email looks like this:
https://www.mysite.com/wppage/
I would like to do what I usually do in my PHP sites:
https://www.mysite.com/wppage.php?variable=1234I would like to pick up $variable in my PHP code on; /wppage/
Please help.
