Link button not available in visual editor

  The link button is not available to use in the visual editor for posting. Anyone have any ideas?

  I tried the HTML link too but the link just comes up in code when you view the post.

  Check in your browser preferences and make sure javascript is enabled.

  I checked this and Javascript is enabled.

  It’s still not working.

  Any other ideas?

  Are you first selecting the text that you want to use as a link then clicking the link button and pasting the link into the URL field?
