Link Button to another website

I have a ‘Play Now’ button on my home page – http://synergychess.net/. How do I link that so when players click on it, it takes them to the page where the game is being hosted – http://localhost:8000/. ?

You won’t be able to link to a localhost, you’ll need to have hosting service for the game to be able to have it online. We won’t be able to help with this though, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with HostPapa.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
