Link Categories – 'View' option doesn't work
-
Hello —
Under Links > Link Categories > Add New, I’ve added several Link Categories and links for each one.
I was hoping that this would automatically generate a page of all links categorized under the same Link Category (as with Post Categories) — and was delighted to find the View option under each Link Category (alongside Edit, Quick Edit, and Delete.
When I click View, I get a promising URL:
http://%5Bsitename].wordpress.com/taxonomy=link_category&term=[link category]
However, the page that shows up is seemingly random and doesn’t display the links in that Link Category.
What is the View option supposed to do? Will it ever allow WP users to link to an automatically-generated page of links? If not, is there a way to get that?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What it does is group your links in the Links widget, it doesn’t generate a dynamic page.

I get what you mean. But, the View option makes it seem as if you should be able to view a page of Links in that Link Category. Also, given one Categorizes Posts and gets an automatically-generated page of those — one would think Links might follow suit.

Hi there,
You can use the Links in a Links widget:
