Link color change

  I changed the color link to a hover in the CSS style sheet, but it did not change the author link (view all post’s by author), the links within each post or the titles of each post or page. I want the links to stay blue, as they are but when you roll over for it to turn black. Right now it turns only a darker blue, which is not what I want. Can someone help me?
