Link color in customize appearance not displaying correctly
-
Hello,
In the customize appearance section of my blog, I am trying to change the link color to #ff9900. Instead of the expected orange hue, however, the text links appear brown. Is there any way to get them to appear true to this color, or at least close? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can also change this with CSS. Please go to Appearance > Customize > CSS and add this:
a, #site-title a:focus, #site-title a:hover, #site-title a:active, .entry-title a:active, .widget_twentyeleven_ephemera .comments-link a:hover, section.recent-posts .other-recent-posts a[rel="bookmark"]:hover, section.recent-posts .other-recent-posts .comments-link a:hover, .format-image footer.entry-meta a:hover, #site-generator a:hover { color: #ff9900; }Cheers!

Thank you, it now displays the color correctly! However, what do I do from here on out when I want to add new links to display this color?
-
In other words, will this CSS you gave me to add allow me to add automatically assign the indicated color to any links I add in the future?
-
Excuse the typos; I meant to say will this CSS you gave me automatically assign the indicated color to any links I add in the future?

Hi there,
Yes when you add new links, the color should update as well. Let me know if you find otherwise!

Yes, as you indicated, it seems to be working so far. I will let you know if I encounter any issues.
Thanks for your help!
