link colours

    Hi – we are experimenting in our test site and would like to change the link colour of some of the links on just this page here: https://01handshake01.wordpress.com/welcome-to-vanguard-e-learning-50-opacity/

    We’d like the ‘here’ link on the right of the video to remain red and the ‘The Library’ and the ‘The Vanguard Method and systems thinking’ links below the images to be a different colour – black.

    Is this possible?
    Many thanks

    Hi there, I see that you have used images with different colored bands at the bottom of them. This would be the best solution in my opinion. If I’ve misunderstood, please let me know.

    Ah – apologies, there is some text below the two rows of images on this page, which describes what is in each of the sections of our site.

    It’s the links in this text that I wanted to ask whether we could change the colour of.

    Ah, ok, now I see. We can target links on that page by using the unique page id class defined in the opening body selector. Add the following and adjust the color as you desire.

    .page-id-1932 .main-content p a {
        color: #33ff33;
    }

    If you end up with additional links in the body of those, they would be the same color. If you do that, we would have to think of something else, such as defining a CSS class that would then be added to a span around the links at the beginning of the paragraphs.
