Link descriptions
-
I feel like an idiot, but I’ve looked all over the FAQs and Forums and cannot find this anywhere. I have added links to my blog, and for each one I added a short description. It would be cool to have the description appear underneath the link, but I can’t figure out how to do that. Is that a function of the theme that I chose? I’ve switched themes a few times to check that possibility out, but I’m not having any luck. In the area where you add the description, some help text says, “This will be shown when someone hovers over the link in the blogroll, or optionally below the link” — but all I can get to work is the hover (by disabling the snapshot capability).

You can add a description beyond the fact that it shows when mouse hovers – by typing in the description in the place where you type name of link.
For example:
LOL Cats – A blog of pictures about cats.

Darn it all. That’s what I figured after all my searching around, but was hoping I’d missed something. Oh well. Learned a lot during the process. Thanks so much for your help!
