Link Descriptions
-
I added descriptions to my links but I want them to be seen only when you hover over the link and right now it’s actual text after the link and when you hover over the link. Is there anyone way I can fix this?
Thanks in advance for your help. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you have added the link descriptions correctly and they are not displaying when you hover over the links in your sidebar then you will need Staff help to sort this as only they have backend access to blogs. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Thanks for your response. Perhaps I wasn’t clear. The description comes up when you hover over the link. I like that. That is what I want. The problem is the description also follows the link. I don’t want that. I just want it show when you hover over th link.

I’m sorry but I don’t comprehend your concern and don’t know how to address it. Perhaps another Volunteer can help with this. I can’t.

It’s okay. Hopefully someone else will be able to help.
When I got to edit description, it says there’s an option but I don’t see how to choose the option or if it’s possible. Maybe it isn’t with the them I chose. I’ll try support later. I just thought I’d utilize the forums first. Thanks. -
An odd one for sure – I tried to duplicate what you have and could not. My only advice would be to delete that entry and make a new one and if that doesn’t work then contact the staff as noted above.
Or just contact the Staff to show them something that should not be able to be done.

Issue resolved.
I went to widgets and pulled down the drop down menu for links and unchecked the box that said show descriptions.
