Link Descriptions Aren't Working

I have several pages that are comprised of listed links to specific blog entries, an alternative to sidebar links. They had been working fine, but the latest ones I’ve added do not show the right description when you hover over the link with your mouse. On this page:
https://iamrainman.wordpress.com/wild-card/
All the links show the right description except the top one, which shows the title of a different post, yet it links to the correct one.
On this page:
https://iamrainman.wordpress.com/books/
All the lower links work until in the middle, “I Am Malala,” which displays only the first half of the post title. The links above it display nothing at all.
I don’t see that I am doing anything different recently when creating the link. Can anyone advise?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello!
I think the problem is IF you are editing in the visual editor the link is not being formatted correctly. Editing in the HTML editor may be the solution.
Could you try editing the post by adding the link along with the other changes in the HTML editor to see if that results in the correct changes?

I’ve already fixed the first link if you want to take another look. It seemed to be automatically inserting info on that other post.
