Link doesn't work in forum posts

  When I post in the forums, my blog name and gravatar don’t link to my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That is probably either because your blog is Private or because it has been judged to be Mature. Staff don’t want people from the forum stumbling on either kind of blog.

  I can’t think of any reason it would be mature – there is no adult content in it.
  How can I tell if I accidently made it “private” – Ican’t find anything in my profile that indicates that to me.

  If your blog is http://thelapidary.wordpress.com/ , then you simply haven’t done what you should have done: go to Users > Personal Settings, paste your blog URL in the “Website” field, click Save Changes.

  You’re welcome!

  By the way, you’ve got many pages, and the rightmost tab gets hidden by the default searchbox of the theme. You should go to Appearance > Theme Options and disable it. If you need a search box, go to Appearance > Widgets and add one to your sidebar.

  @raincoaster – or anyone. Why don’t staff want people “stumbling” upon a private blog?

  Mine is private until I am satisfied that it is presentable.

  I’ve recently seen people’s usernames linked to private blogs several times, so perhaps it used to be the case before and now isn’t. Or raincoaster was trying to give you an explanation.
