  I bought a domain name for my blog (XXXXXXXXXXX.com). How do I direct that domain to my WordPress blog?

  With any paid WordPress.com plan, you’ll receive one domain credit that you can use to either register a domain or direct your own to your WordPress.com blog.

  Then use the domain credit at https://wordpress.com/domains

  Finally, since your domain is registered elsewhere, be sure to update its settings to point to our servers, and wait a few hours for that to take effect.
