Link editing window erases content
-
When I insert or edit a link, the “insert/edit link” window opens and I type in my link and the title information.
But on a Mac, standard behaviour is for up/down arrow keys to take you to the front or back of a line of text. In this input window, the arrow keys erase the inputted information and replaces it with the “existing content” from a drop down list. I cannot guess how many times this has erased links/titles I was almost ready to post.
I wish it would keep my “original content I just entered” as an option I could have at the top of that list or something.
I assume this isn’t something there’s a quick solution to change the devout behaviour of the arrow keys in this window, but thought I’d raise it here.
I’ll write to the WordPress.com contact address as well.
