"Link" exisiting wordpress website to wordpress on my MAC

I currently have a website through WordPress (serendipityandbliss.com). I wanted to use plugins so I downloaded wordpress for my MAC. My problem now is, how do I link my existing website to the one I downloaded? I tried looking for answers online or in the forums, but I guess I didn’t really understand the answers considering I have no knowledge of how SQL, codex, etc works. Please help. Thanks.

This is actually a bit easier than it sounds (no need for SQL, etc). You will first need to setup web hosting, which involves a separate company entirely. We have a recommended list of web hosts here:
Basically, you’ll want to setup hosting and install WordPress.org software on your host, not locally on your computer. All of the hosts we link to above have a simple installation guide. If you have any trouble, let me know. I’ll try to point you in the right direction.
After you have setup WordPress.org on your new host, you’ll want to follow the instructions here for exporting/importing your content:
