Link Featured Content directly to pages?

    Is there a way to make one of my pages show up as a one of the things in the Featured Content are of the Twenty Fourteen theme? I cannot add tags to pages, so I can’t use the “featured” tag. I tried to create a post with a link format, but it doesn’t work and doesn’t have a title. Help?

    I does indeed have to be a post. The featured content panel in Twenty Fourteen is for posts not pages.
