    How Do I link a hosted wordpress site to a wordpress account? When I try to log in to wordpress.com with my wordpress log in for my hosted site it says I don’t have an account? SO icreated an account and now I am trying to link the two?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there, just to check – your site is hosted with a different company?

    If you’re using the WordPress software which originates from WordPress.org, and hosting it with another company then your site login won’t have any direct relation to WordPress.com. You can of course use this WordPress.com account (username emunestaff, account details at: https://wordpress.com/me/account/) and connect to your WordPress site using the Jetpack plugin:

    There are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com.
