  I’m trying to add links to my homepage of my facebook, pinterest, and website. I don’t want it to be the url code but rather the icon to each of those sites. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you referring to sharing buttons that appear at the bottom of your posts? http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/

  If what you mean is your want icons in your sidebar then simply capture the icon images, link them to your social network profiles, and display them in a text widget. http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/text-widget-links/

  No. I’m trying to add my facebook, pinterest, and website link to the homepage for people to visit the other sites that i’m on.

  You can create a blogroll and enter the links into it and display them in a Links widget.
