Link image on homepage to page that is not the blog
-
Hello. I have the theme Portfolio. I have a static Homepage and have added images to the homepage. I would like to link those images to other pages within the site that is not the blog or a post in the blog section. How do I do this?

Hi there,
To change where an image links to, all you need to do is go in and edit the page or post which has the current image and then click on the image itself. Two icons will appear on the upper left corner. One that looks like a postcard and one that looks like the international “no” symbol. Click the postcard icon and the image’s options will pop up. At the bottom of this page is where the image links to. Change that link and then press Update. You’ll then need to press Update for the page or post itself on the right hand side of the screen and then you’ll be all set!

Thank you for the response. I created an image gallery for the homepage, but the above answer did not solve my problem for this. Because the images are grouped together, it does not allow me to edit the linking to the custom URL. Any chance you know the way around this? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Oh, I see. You’re trying to use your front page as a sort of image map to direct visitors to other places on your blog?
Unfortunately there is no way to do so using the image gallery, as it will automatically open up the carousel which cannot be set to link the individual images to different locations.
