Link image via URL.

    This is a nifty feature that seems to be gone from the new post/page editor. A feature in ‘Insert Media’ where you can simply paste the image URL from an external site and the editor will auto format the image to fit within your paragraph width.

    Now whenever you link an image, it’ll upload that said image into your media library, wasting precious storage paste offered by WordPress itself. The alternative way is to scribble the code via HTML, because not all image host out there provide a copy-paste link that doesn’t featuring them trying really hard to advertise themselves.

    If the feature is moved elsewhere, I would like to know where, if not I really like to see the feature returned.

    Yeah, no option to link the image url in the new format.
