Link-in-bio e-mail from WordPress.com – is this a scam?

  I received an e-mail apparently from WordPress.com It encourages me to click on a link to ‘Create a Link in Bio website that stands out. It only takes a few minutes.’

  I clicked on the link and my virus protection (Bitdefender) blocked the page:
  Dangerous page blocked for your protection

  Link in Bio

  Is this e-mail a legitimate message from WordPress or is it a scam?

  Please note, I do not need help with my website, I want to know if the e-mail I receivd as from WordPress.com is legitimate or not.
