  Thanks, that is a great help. Can you tell me how to put the actual link into this code? Meaning, the adress of the site I want to link to.

  Replace “pagelinkhere” with the http://whateveryourlinkis
  or “imagelinkhere” with a link to a photo in your media library

  It’s easy to do in the visual editor (the same one you use to write a post). Use the chain icon to make the links. When you are finished, switch to html editor. Copy the code. Paste the code into the text widget.
