link insert on my blog

    Hi i am trying to put a link on my blog and it wont work.
    what happens is when I put the link in, the link address ONLY shows on my blog published page and it wont open to the link that I need it to be directed to.

    I was told in order for this link to work to : Directions: This link is served by us. You don’t need to download the graphic. Just highlight and copy the HTML code below, then paste it into the code for your Web site.

    this is the beginning and end of the link.. is there a reason for this?

    please advise me as to what I need do in order to make this work.

    All iframe codes are stripped out of wordpress.COM hosted blogs for security reasons. The same stripping of code is also true of JavaScript codes and advertising codes. Please read the code restrictions at
