  The link I tried to put in the post isn’t clickable. In fact it doesn’t even show in the preview.

  That’s because you didn’t enter any text, you only added a title. To create a link, you type the word or phrase that will act as the link, highlight it, then click the Link tool and enter the URL. The title isn’t the visible, clickable text, it’s (optional) extra info that shows up when you hover over a link.
