link menu vs making a link page

  • Unknown's avatar

is there a diffrence between inserting links you like, and sites you like into a blogroll, on the links menu in the dashboard, or creating a dedicated page(s) for them, and does doing it one way over the other, interact with the way its viewed, or send some sort of trackbacks? just debating which is a better way to provide this info and why?
thanx in advance for any comments or help

Hi. To my knowledge, using the links widget will not generate a trackback, but adding a link to a post may do that.

Other than that, it’s really up to you, whether you want your links to show up on the sidebar or on a dedicated page, if you want to manage them, sort them, give them ratings, etc.

But that’s just my two cents. Perhaps another volunteer thinks otherwise.
