link misdirect
-
Hi,
I’m having trouble with some link directs. A while back I shifted the content on my blog and am now realizing I still have old content on there, but it is linked from my identity. First, how do I save the old content to another location, not visible on the current blog? Secondly, why doesn’t the link from my profile photo go to ‘About the Author?’ I would like to make it go there. Where do I edit that? Thank youWP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you please be a bit more specific about what you want to move/remove?
You say you “shifted the content on [your] blog”, but what did you move? From where and to where? I see five sites in the account you’re using to post here, so I assume you migrated some content from one site to another?
And I’m not sure what you mean with “linked from my identity”.
Secondly, why doesn’t the link from my profile photo go to ‘About the Author?’ I would like to make it go there. Where do I edit that?
Where are you seeing your profile photo linking somewhere? I had a look at http://adrenalburnout.wordpress.com/, but I don’t see your profile pictured being displayed anywhere by the theme, nor do I see it in the content of your recent posts.
If you’re referring to where your profile picture displays when you comment on a post, that links to your public Gravatar profile. That cannot be changed. But you can add your About info to your Gravatar profile if you wanted. You can update your profile description here:
You can also change where your username in comments link to. You do that by completing the Website URL field in your account settings. But that link will be attached to your username globally on WordPress.com, not just on your site, i.e. that link will exist for your username whether you comment on your own site, or on someone else’s.
