Link on new page

  Hi blogging community. I am trying to create a new page ‘my favourite posts’.
  I clicked add new page, then put in the title, then wrote ‘these are my favourite posts’ then, in text mode, I clicked the ‘link’ button. I had the option to ‘link to existing content’ which brought up all of my posts. I clicked the ones I wanted to add, then clicked ‘add link’ and text like this

  popped up on the page. I went on to then ‘publish’ but when viewed all that shows are the words ‘these are my favourite posts’. I tried again to add links with the visual mode, but the link symbol is a lighter colour than the rest and cannot be clicked on. Any advice? Thank you
