Link on text widget?

  Hello

  I would like to put a link on my text widget but I can’t find how to do it.
  The support pages say that I have to use visual editor but I don’t know where I can find this visual editor.
  Can someone explain me in detail (mention different steps) how I can add this link please? I am still a beginner in wordpress.

  In the text widget to create a link, you need to use the HTML, there is no visual editor for the text widget.

  You need to use this code and place the url, where it says url of course, and then whatever you want the Link to say, put it in ‘Link Text’:
