Link On Twitter Is Connected To Wrong Account

  Hi! I recently changed my Twitter handle. Unbeknownst to me, someone scooped up my old handle and is using it now. I recently noticed that when posting links to my blog on my twitter account, the link actually connects back to this old Twitter account rather than my current one. I wish I could screenshot and show you what I mean, as I feel I’m not doing a good job describing it. Anyway, I changed my wordpress account settings to reflect my current Twitter username, but the problem is still happening. I’d rather not have this other person getting credit and viewers on his Twitter account for something that I wrote! Any ideas on how to fix this?

  Log out of Twitter, then you will have to remove the Publicize app and connect it to the correct account. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

  I appreciate the suggestion but I do not have the Publicize app installed. Is there another issues that could be causing this problem?
