Link option does not work.
-
I cannot put links into my page. The logo on the visual setting won’t let me select it, and when I use the text/html settings it simply removes whatever I put in. I checked to see if I could find that problem listed on the links help article but I didn’t see it.
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have to highlight the anchor text before clicking the link icon. Until you highlight the anchor text you want to link to the link icon will remain grayed out.

This is guide for creating links in blog posts and pages
http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
This is the general link model:
Highlighted anchor text here
This is the visual result but as it’s just an example it’s not actually linked to a page:
Highlighted anchor text here
Enter the anchor text you want to link to first.
Then use your mouse to highlight that anchor text.
Next click the chain icon in the Visual editor and proceed to create the link. (Select the option to open in new window if that’s what you want.) -

I added a link to point back to my featured site, which is why I created the blog. Once added, how do I get it to appear to preview it on the wordpress blog site?
