Link overflows column margin on front page

Hi, I am using the Business Identity theme.

I have a fairly long link in a post that I need to show as is (can’t shorten). When the post is viewed on the front page of my website (3-columns for 3 posts) the link overruns the column and goes into the next, not in Firefox, but in Safari and Chrome (viewed from a mac). Changing size of browser window does not affect the problem. Any thoughts?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • The way long text is handled is browser-specific, as you’ve seen. To avoid these issues, I’d suggest you put the link on some text instead of exposing it within the body of the text itself.

    For example:

    <a href="http://www.openinfosecfoundation.org/download/suricata-2.1beta4.tar.gz">Get the new release here</a>

If you need further help with Business Identity, please post in the theme’s forum, where the developer will help you directly:

Thanks, but right now I need to show the whole path. I will post my question in the theme forum.

    Thanks for your speedy response!

  • Glad Philip found a CSS workaround for you!
