Link Party
-
I recently started a link party on my friday blog posts. Two weeks I was able to provide the link for readers to add their website. This week the link will not take on my post and the other two Friday post links have disappeared. What’s up with that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please provide the relevant links to the exact posts you refer to. Without you providing them I’m sorry but we cannot even begin to assist you.

Could you please try to explain more clearly what is happening? What does “will not take on my post” mean?

I am trying to host a “link party” through a Mr Linky generated code http://misterlinky.net/
My blog post is here. https://chrisknits.wordpress.com/ The link code shows in my text view and the link shows in my visual view on my admin page. But no link on the blog post.

Did you paste the link in? Maybe there’s something wrong with the link.
You can easily create your own links with the post editor Insert/Edit link tab in the editor menu bar. -
And yes, as timethief suggested, the actually links would help. Please provide both the visual and text versions of the link or links that aren’t displaying properly, and the precise post you’re referring to.

@chrisknits
The links were tripped out by the software here automatically because We cannot use mrlinky on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.We can use the http://new.inlinkz.com link up tool.

It took that long for the bot that’s programmed to crawl WordPress.com sites looking for such links and remove them from your posts.
Bottom line:
I know for a fact we cannot use mrlinky for blog hop link drops.
