Link photos in articles

Hello,
I recently been hacked, so I had to reinstall everything, as I did not have any backup.
I did an xml export before to delete my blog, and imported it after I was done with my installation.The good thing is that all my articles are back, but not the photos included in these articles.
I have a folder in my computer with all the photos I uploaded in my blog. With the same name, same size.If I put them on my ftp, do you know if there is a way to tell wordpress to link these photos in the articles ?

To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
You might check in with your host to see if there’s an error log you could look at for more information. Or, you could look in this forum; perhaps someone there has experienced something similar:
