Link photos in gallery to pages??

    I am wanting to add a photo of an insect with a caption, then be able to click on that photo, and have it linked to a page with info on the insect and more resources. I’ve searched around and find I can add the photo gallery but there’s no mention of being able to link to a page. Is this possible? And if so, how?

    You can add live links to both image captions and image descriptions, but you will have to code them yourself. These areas are not WYSIWYG editable.

    If code is a bit of a mystery for you, you can use a test page or post to write the links in the Visual Editor and then switch to the Text/Code Editor and copy/paste the resulting code in the image description area or caption area.

    To make this a little easier, you can open two browser windows to switch back and forth while editing.

    To be clearer, the gallery image when clicked will only link to either the Photo Carousel, Attachment Page or the direct image link.
