Link placement help

    the links for my categories (and also my products but this is not such an issue as when they hover on the view product box/link pops up) on my website are placed in the centre of the images or on the wording underneath the images. This is causing some customers to have difficulty navigating the website as when they click on a category; if they do not click exactly where the link is placed nothing happens. How do I make sure the links cover the entire image to ensure a more user friendly experience for my customers? I fear I am losing customers because of this.

    BTW I use woocommerce. The site was designed for me and I am muddling my way through using google and this forum to fix things as I go; so need simple instructions! :) Thank you.
