  Hi

  I’m having abit of difficulty with my posts, they seem to be added to a date, then the post name, not onto my blog.

  I’m abit stuck, I changed theme as I thought somehow I had set something up wrong, also the menu will not feature on my front page now.

  sorry, bit stressed.

  I’m not even sure I like the theme I’ve now picked, which I only did as I thought it would correctly redirect my posts.

  I just want something simple and stylish, I was a weding and portrait photographer before a horse riding accident when I received quite severed brain damage.

  Now I want to start up again, simply, just with friends and family to start with, but I just can’t get the blog to display properly.

  my other one, which is tracking my progress, is fine.

  Please help :-$

  Have you gone through http://learn.wordpress.com yet? There’s no point getting into a knot over the format of the blog until you’ve got at least five posts up. And realize, a lot of the new themes are configurable, which basically means until you do configure them, they look like crap. Change to a standard, ordinary theme like Twenty Ten and see how it looks. Then re-evaluate the theme you’ve chosen, and re-read all the demo information and see how they configure it (featured images, post formats, etc).

  Thank you, I’ve followed that, and I’ve saved the pages for my theme to work with (ongoing) but I got the basics working well, thank you :-)
