  Currently I am using Serif Web Plus X8. Every week I am sent the current church service sheet in word document format by email to put on our web site. I save this sheet in my documents folder and then hyperlink it to the relevant web page. How do I do the same thing using WordPress please?

  Note .doc, .docx (Microsoft Word Document) is an accepted file type for uploading. Please see http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/ and http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/

  If you want to embed the document itself into a post or a page, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.
