  I have not been able to find the answer to this, but what is the purpose or function of a link rating in the advanced section of “add new link.” Does this help to reorder links or something?

  Hi,

  Here’s the best explanation I can find:

  Rating – A ranking of the Link, which can be used to sort links within Categories.

  That is from the documentation page for self-hosted WordPress, but it should work the same here. https://codex.wordpress.org/Links_Manager
