link text keeps disappearing

  I’m trying to insert a hypertext link, but when I preview the draft the linked text keeps disappearing. I’ve tried entering teh html manually, and also using the insert link button in the text editor, but no matter what I do, the text won’t appear in the preview.
  example: if I write click here to purchase through <a title="click here!" href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=qJkYsFuFiu4&offerid=177510&type=3&subid=0">Chronicle Books</a> now in the html, all that appears is “click here to purchase through now”…the link disappears. The same with

  ..sorry, that last bit didn’t come out. It was supposed to say “The same with linked images in an <a> tag.

  Other linked text appears fine (i.e. an address like http://www.cyanblue.co.uk), but the affiliate link text doesn’t appear…any idea why? I’m a standard (free) member – is that the reason?
