Link text to image

Id like to add am image to some text – so that you click on text and up pops an image (so the image is not inserted onto the page). I have a page where this happened somehow, but now everytime I go to add another image the image is inserted into the page. I want text to link through to the image. Check out my ‘Media’ page to see what I mean – there is some text linked to images there – but I need to know how! Thanks.

That’s a private blog, so we can’t see it.
To do this, however, is easy. Just upload an image as if you were going to put it in a post and don’t. Copy the URL of the image, then write your text. Highlight the text as if you were going to make a normal text link, and put the URL of the image in the pop-up box. Then when you click on the link, the image will open.
