link to a book on amazon.com

    In the blog I just posted I mention a book, Technotrends, written by Daniel Burrus. I would like to add a link to Amazon.com so people can purchase the book. Amazon.com provides code that looks like this for me to paste in that looks like this:

    When I try to add a link I’m asked for the URL.

    Is there a method of doing this within a blog post?

    Hi!

    It looks like you’re trying to use an iframe code, which is blocked from WordPress.com as explained here:

    Add Code to Your Site

    However, you should still be able to use the affiliate link within a blog post. You’ll just want to grab the URL here:

    http://d.pr/i/1hpaa

    Then, you’ll want to add the link within your text:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/#creating-links

    Can you give that a try?
