link to a page with images in posts
-
I wanted to add a link to a page rather than a file. I would like to add more images to a post from my own photo library. How can I link to a page that I construct rather than a URL?
-
Well, any web page will have a URL, so just use the URL of the page. Put the image in your post, click to select it, click the Link icon, and put in the URL you want it to link to. I do this with all of my images.

I understand the links to web pages. But I don’t have a web page to put my own photos, at least, I don’t know how to. I already have 3 photos on my post but I wanted to add more with having to add more thumbnails. I wanted to write at the bottom of my post “more pics” and people could click to see a new page with more photos of the project. To see what I mean, my post is called “Do-it-yourself Trellis”

Go on posting on that post, insert a “more”-tag and change the text of the tag to “more pics”.

Isadora- now I’m frustrated. I tried to follow the instructions but I don’t see anything once I save my post. Also, every time I save the post, all these <font size=”3″> and </font> codes multiply. I keep deleting them but they keep coming back.

I should just stop working on blog right now. Just visited again, and now, everything is bolded and italicized. I didn’t attempt to change anything, didn’t even think possible (like headers, tags, blogroll, sidebar widgets, etc). Also, if I can’t change the font color in my template, then how are some links blue and others barely visible. I don’t know what I am doing wrong, but this is starting to get very frustrating…
I need help figuring out what I am doing to make this happen.

Edit the most recent post, switch to “code”, look for this sentence:
secured it with the recommended <i><b><a
and delete that “i” tag, like this:
secured it with the recommended <b><a
I’m wondering why you use i (italic) and b (bold) tags around pictures. -
I don’t use bold or italic, unless it is a hyperlink. My last entry describes my problem. I logged in one day and my whole blog was in bold and italic. How do I change?

so weird isadora. At first, I didn’t know what you were talking about. I removed the <b><i> from around more pics, then it worked. My whole blog is now back to normal. Whew!
