Link to an Image URL

  I’m refering to below instruction:

  To insert a link using an image stored somewhere else on the Internet, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Add Media button.
  2. Add Media Button
  3. Click the Add Via URL link.
  4. Type the URL of the image file into the URL text box then click Upload.
  Edit as desired then Insert.

  So, is the image uploaded to my media gallery? Will it decrease my storage capacity?
