Link to an Image URL not working

  Hi – when I try to add an image to my post from Flickr I click on the add image, select from url, I add the url a red X comes up and no picture. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  What is the URL of the image you are trying to link to?

  Hi,

  The url is : http://www.flickr.com/photos/wannabeavegan/3246814092/

  I have also upgraded my Flash and tred both flash and browser option to no avail.

  That’s not the Image URL. That’s the page URL.

  You need this:

  

  Which I got by going to the page and right-clicking right on the image itself, Save Image Location, pasted in here and deleted the little bit at the end:

  ?v=0

  And there you go.

  No worries, for months I thought it was impossible to hotlink from Flickr!

  Thanks for that – I’ve been reading the forums, tutorials, getting started, etc. for 2 days now and couldn’t find anything so I thought it was me not getting something!
