Link to bookshops online

I know that we are not sopose to have ads on our blogs. At the same time i read somewere, don’t remember where, that its ok to link to Amazon when you have a post about a book. I’m curius. My blog is about books and i live in Sweden. Is it ok if i link to some Swedish online bookshop? And if its ok, is it still ok if i get something back? If the bookshop give me something for my link. This is not the main purpose of my blog i just figure it could be intresting to see if i can make something little out of it.

Contact WordPress staff about this. http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ We’re just volunteers voicing our own opinions here. amazon.com links are ok, as it is said, if it’s a personal review of a book or product. There is big difference between a blog with occasional product reviews and links and a “store” with posts only about and only linking to products. The best would be to maybe make a couple of example posts of how it will look like and then ask staff if those posts are ok. Hopefully they will have someone fluent enough in Swedish to judge the content.
